Cats on Cats is the solo project of Justin Rauschkolb, a veteran of the late 90’s/early 2000’s New Jersey punk and hardcore music scene. After about a 20-year creative dormant period, Justin released an independent 3 song EP, Life Support, in March of 2022.

Recorded in February 2022 as part of the RPM Challenge, the songs on Life Support document deeply personal and autobiographical experiences echoing a range of influences, from feedback-laden post-punk to dreamy indie-rock pop. Justin relocated from New Jersey to the Richmond, Virginia area in 2021 where Cats on Cats was born.
